The Department of Finance in the School of Business is accepting applications for a teaching faculty position (non-tenure track) at the rank of Assistant Teaching Professor or Associate Teaching Professor. The ideal candidate will have a demonstrated teaching and research interest in finance and have the ability to teach in financial and/or managerial accounting. A Ph.D. in Finance (by August 2018) and evidence of teaching effectiveness and research potential are required. Candidates for the rank of Associate Teaching Professor should have a proven, high-quality research record. The appointment involves teaching in the undergraduate program, which offers traditional classroom and online learning opportunities.
The position will begin August 2018.

The position requires the ability to effectively teach in finance and have the ability to teach financial and/or managerial accounting. Teaching is the primary duty of teaching faculty (4-3 teaching load per year). Continuing professional development, a commitment to active research, and contributions to the University are also expected (e.g., advising, curriculum development, service to department, school, university and profession).
