The Physical Therapy Department at Quinnipiac University is looking for a dynamic individual to join 15 full-time faculty as well as  several part-time clinical experts in developing a new generation of physical therapists as an Assistant or Associate Professor. This is a full-time, 12-month faculty position tenure-track appointment beginning in August 2018. About the Physical Therapy Program:

The DPT curriculum at Quinnipiac is a hybrid model of foundational science integrated into a professional model of health care delivery for contemporary society. Physical therapy knowledge and skills are applied through clinical decision-making with authentic cases in and out of the classroom. In addition to expert full- and part-time faculty, the department has ideal state of the art facilities to include a Motion Analysis Laboratory with mobile capability, high fidelity simulation, standardized patient suite. The department is housed in the center for Medicine, Nursing, and Health Sciences Building and actively collaborates within the Center for Interprofessional Healthcare Education.

The DPT Program embodies the University's commitment to its three core values: high-quality academic programs, a student-oriented environment, and a strong sense of community; the American Physical Therapy Association's (APTA) core values: accountability, altruism, compassion/caring, excellence, integrity, professional duty and social responsibility, and is dedicated to pursuing the APTA vision of “transforming society by optimizing movement to improve the human experience.”
